Protected area Aguas Chiquitas

Caracteristics: Mountain footpaths / Forest of Subtropical Yunga / Avistaje de Loro the Alisal (species in protection) / Protected Area Natural Resources.

ITINERARY:

Departure 8 a.m. from Hotel or Hostel, by national route 9 in North direction, to the Dock Gelsi Celestine (the Cadillal), to 30 minutes of our capital. We will cross a bed, of the river Medina to arrive at the base of its Mountain ranges, where we will make logistic of equipment, rations of Marches and we will be inserted in the forest by mountain footpaths. Here we will sight the Alisal Parrot (species in extinction) and flora, forest of yungas Tucumanas. The day of trekking will be of 2,30 hs approx until arriving at the protected area `Chiquitas Waters `, there we will rest and take pictures, them we back 1,20 hs more hiking in the jungle return approx, until the vehicle; Lunch, Soon return to San Miguel de Tucumán.

This alternative has an INTERMEDIATE level of difficulty which means: a requirement that don`t demand physical and present a moderate risk level and combining activities moderate or moderately intensive environments irregular. They are ideal for people with normal physical condition and good health.
